The food was good. We had a variety of breakfast and some had lunch. The only criticism would be that they bake their potatoes in aluminum foil. Which is fine but Then they cut through the foil to cut the potato in half. The foil should always be taken off before cutting as there were several tiny pieces of foil in the potato. That is not something you want to bite into.
I live in Madison (but I grew up in Jefferson) and this is THE BEST place for Friday (and Wednesday) fish and/or chicken combo meals. Nowhere else offers what they have at the price. We order every other Friday and drive out (35 minute drive each way) and pick it up. Service is exceptional most of the time (yea, they get it wrong once in awhile, I can forgive them). A heartfelt thank you to Jefferson Cafe for graciously hosting our board members and community partners for brunch this morning. It was a productive gathering where we shared updates about our nonprofits, discussed future plans, and explored potential partnerships. The customer service was exceptional, the food was served promptly and was delicious, and the pricing was competitive. We had a wonderful time and eagerly anticipate returning next quarter!
