“This is one of the hidden gem Wisconsin supper clubs. It has amazing fish fry's and chives exceeding the standard cod you find at lost Friday fish fry's. My favorite is the bluegill. My spouse had the cod. Very generous portions and include freshly baked loaf of bread and coke slaw with your choice of several potato options. Very reasonable prices and alcohol available Full bar as well. Excellent service. Never disappointed when I visit Wayside.”

“Such a good place. Ordered pick up from the town over and we have our own Chinese place. But the proportions, prices, and food quality are so much better here. Everything was still fresh and hot when getting home (15 min drive). Crab Rangoons are full and served with sweet and sour sauce. Dinner combination is perfect proportion and comes with egg roll. Chicken lo mein served piping hot and delicious. Highly recommend. The service is fast and friendly!”

“Took my family here to celebrate her birthday. Edgewater offered a unique experience while maintaining the underpinnings of the traditional Wisconsin super club. She had the corn beef special with mashed potatoes, cabbage, and carrots. The boys each had salmon which they enjoyed and appreciated the natural flavoring. And I had the lamb. The Old Fashions were spot on and I always appreciate a place going Royal Crown cola over the more common options. Our server was friendly and we appreciated him explaining the specials and other menu options. It is worth the trip.”

“2nd time here. Great location on the river, even in winter. Was quiet when we visited but the decor is homely and cosy and the service friendly and efficient. Decent burger but outstanding Bloody Mary. The Glarus beer on tap is stand out. Shame it’s only available in Wisconsin….Parking: Decent amount of spots.”

“I like this place, but they change the menu and I don't see a lot of good things on it. Sitting back by the river is pretty, but it can get very hot because there are no shade to protect you”

“The building needs updating but the wait staff, cooks and prices can’t be beat! I visited a few times while our dad was in hospice nearby and there was always a very sweet woman with short hair and wearing a kindness shirt. She wasso friendly and welcoming during a difficult time when I needed a cup of soup and Monte Crisco. Thank you for your kindness. ❤️”

“Wanted some Friday fish fry after having gastric bypass surgery in December. It hit the spot and more. Everything I’ve loved about a fish fry. The baked fish was the best I’ve had. My kids loved their kids sized pizzas (cause they didn’t have to share with each other lol) and fries! Their food never disappoint and it’s nice to have a delivery option when I don’t want to drag two kids out of the house. Great job!Kid-friendliness: Excellent prices for kids “meals” 7 inch pizza with fries for $6. Perfect amount for the kids.”
