A small bar/restaurant on the outskirts of Jefferson WI. Known for good food and friendly service.Was there for brunch, the biscuits and gravy were recommended. Not normally done well in Wisconsin, but they met my Southern born standard. The design your own omelets were also well recieved.
We went for fish fry. Was very disappointed in the meal. Potato pancakes were swimming in grease and had no flavor. Fish was blah. No flavor. The only thing that was great was the bread they brought out.
Was in the area and found this place on a search for a good fish fry. It definitely lived up to the hype. The fish fry was excellent. Big firm pieces of fish, a few choices of potato ( including potato pancakes) warm fresh baked bread and tasty coleslaw. Everything about the meal was delicious.
