We went to try somewhere new. The menu in the online pictures is not updated... prices were a few dollars higher, but very reasonable.... service was very welcoming, and continued throughout our entire time there. (Bartender, waitress, etc.) If going there to eat, let the bartender know and they will take care of it. We drank to mixed drinks, both were excellent and great price. We decided on the Wayside because it was about halfway between Madison and Milwaukee to meet our friends. What a find! It’s the supper club that are getting to be so rare in this time of chain restaurants. The moment we walked in the bartender greeted us right away. Our waitress was a spitfire. Everything you could ask for in a classic rural Wisconsin super club! Nothing fancy, paneled walls, friendly service with great food at a wonderful price! The bartender and fellow patrons were a delight!
