“We took refuge with you during a tornado alert. The bartender was so very kind and the patrons helpful in letting us know the county we were in, etc. A friendly, fun small-town family feel. PLUS peanuts and popcorn! If ever we return to WI we'll stop to enjoy your establishment with a little less stress!”

“Amys is the only place in Monroe to get a truly good breakfast and lunch. All made with fresh ingredients. No processed foods here. All her lunch specials are a complete meal, meat, potato, vegetable and fruit or salad. Deserts are all made in house and are fantastic. And the atmosphere is great!”

Many won't understand why I gave this place 5 stars....With that being said...You will have to decide....The reason I give it 5 stars is bc I live in this town....but never went to the bars here to drink. I no longer drink but I take my friends to this bar bc to me it's friendly. Salt of the earth people in this town...me included..LOL. It might not seem like they are friendly bc its a small town and you kbow the rest. Drinking a social lubricant...foes just that....people open up when they drink..so just strike up a conversation with anyone....you will be pleasantly surprised!! In the summer all of Albany is buzzing and teaming with tubers and travelers!! This is the most chill bar in town...as far as a know. Bc the people who work there are cool af!! But hey..my opinion only...it might not be your jam...there are 3 other bars to go to!! Lol or back to your campsite.....wink wink...Enjoy it for its small town charm!! “I highly recommend Rowdy’s for an event venue rental! Donna and her staff took great care in having everything set up for our event and were super accommodating as things came up. If you are in need of a space, please check them out. She transformed it into a beautiful spot for a baby shower!”

“Cleanest bar you will ever see. At least 13 TVs allowing you to view your favorite Sporting event from anywhere in the establishment. Staff is very hardworking and friendly that starts with the owner Danette. 5 out 5 Stars!!!”

“Came to see my brother in laws band Vintage Vinyl play. Had dinner also. The ribs were awesome as was the atmosphere of the bar. We're from Rockford and love to check out different places and this is one we will come back to. Thank You so much.”

“Popcorn is delicious. Other than that, disappointed. The staff was unwelcoming and made me feel uncomfortable. Despite this store advertising all inclusiveness. The "discount bin", where you could pick a free item if you bought X number of popcorn...was empty and had some single stale candies to choose from.

“The Bar was formerly called M&J's. It is exactly what a small neighborhood bar should be. It's always fun. There is plenty of room to sit at the bar. There are plenty of TV's to watch The Badgers and other things. The food is great. The pizzas are always a good choice. There are also daily drink and food specials. The bartenders are always fun and the service is top notch. This is our favorite place in Brodhead.”
