Kenosha Tap House offers a unique dining experience with a great business concept, atmosphere, and a wide selection of beverages. It is a pour-your-own place with a wonderful beer garden and plenty of seating, right by the lake and off the walking path with views of the harbor. The menu may be limited, but the food is fresh and delicious, with highlights like the pretzel appetizer. Guests can make their own flight or try more from the great selection of ciders, beers, and pre-made cocktails.
The inside is nice with ample space, though the ordering process involves picking up food at a window when the buzzer goes off. While some find the self-serve concept unorthodox, others enjoy the freedom to pour their own drinks. The food is decent—nothing over the top but good—with prices in line with other local spots. Plastic utensils come in a pouch, which some find less ideal. With a walk-up bar and kid-friendly environment, it's a great spot to enjoy a meal and a drink by the lakefront.
