Had an intense craving for some real bakery bread and this place hit the nail on the head. Definitely will be my go-to from now on.

BEST BREAD IN THE WORLD!!My aunt Lena Cardinali and her husband ran this Bakery around the 1920s. My dad worked here in the 40's before shipping out in the Navy in World War II. I and my brother worked there in the early eighties for a while after my dad's Bakery in Racine closed, which I worked in from age 9 - 17. Thank you for keeping it running. I know how hard the work is.

Stopped in to get Bomber buns and a round loaf of Italian bread. Their breads are the best, the nice young lady behind the counter was super helpful.I never knew that they had fresh raw pizza dough in the cooler, next time I visit I'm picking some up and will make a couple of pizzas at home.

Though I was born and raised in Kenosha, I have lived in San Francisco for 30 years. San Francisco is a foodie town, where we have gourmet doughnuts such as maple-bacon, passion fruit-milk chocolate, lavender-blueberry, lemon-thyme, and more. I'm here to say that Cardinali's has the best doughnuts in the world. The cyclops are unparalleled. Doughy and light as clouds, the chocolate rich and full of flavor, the white dollop of cream caresses your tongue. Never miss a chance to get cyclops from Cardinali's.

Excellent bakery and a wonderful hidden gem. Their quality of bread and other baked goods are delicious. The prices are extremely affordable. They also take special orders, I order special breads for muffaletta sandwiches. If your in the area I would recommend you stop in but get there early.
Always have to stop when I am In town love the bread will not eat anything else

This is another kenosha landmark. Local Italian bakery. Mom and pop place. Great prices. My mom used to come here as a kid.

Not a "bad" experience by any means at all. The doughnuts that I did purchase were Wonderful (even for being "day old doughnuts". But my first thought when entering was 'this is all they have??! How have they stayed open for so long??' ? 10am on a Thursday & all they had were MAYBE 2 dozen day old donuts, loafs of bread, pizza/bread dough (which I've read/heard are delicious) and pizza sauce. Which is hand made. Customer service was delightful and wonderful. But what a disappointment when it came to a selection of doughnuts. ?
Don't come here for donuts..
