Hands down my favorite diner and breakfast place in Kenosha! You sit at the high counter with all the other locals and chit chat while enjoying your delicious meal. The waitresses are always there to help and shout orders across the shop. Their homemade toast/bread is FRESH & delicious, along with their daily specials. Once I had the Gnocchi Dumpling Soup with a good olde Sloppy Joe. Their known for the Percolator...but you have to go in to find out what this unique omelet...
It was our first time my uncle and I went to the Coffee Pot and seems like a nice place with good service. However both of our omelettes were marginal at best. I had the Shroom omelette the sausage was dry and over cooked and it was to come with pepper jack cheese and I couldn't really find any. My uncle had ham and cheese omelette the ham was way over cooked and he didn't think there was any cheese on it either. I've eaten at a lot of restaurants and that breakfast...
It's a very small restaurant that also has outdoor seating in the summer. I have eaten here four times in the outdoor seating area. The food is always very good, service is exceptional and prices reasonable. When I come to Kenosha to go bike riding, it's a must stop on my list!
