I hadn’t been to this Dickey’s in a while. But this is my second stop in a week. I’ll definitely be coming back more frequently. Everything we have had has been very good. Especially the “Westerner” sandwich! The pulled pork and sides are also very good. The staff, including the owner, are always incredibly attentive and make sure everyone is enjoying their meal. Haven't been to Dickeys in a couple years, but loved them last time I tried them. I can see inflation has hit them hard. The quality has slipped. Dry brisket, minimally filled bbq sauce cups and lukewarm sides. Super sad....was not the Dickeys I remember and used to love!
The beef brisket was very good. Now I’ve been to many Texas barbecue places because when I’m in Texas that’s what I eat! Texans will have their many opinions of barbecue. As a Wisconsinite I thought it was fantastic. My palate may not be as well refined as some Texas barbecue enthusiasts but it was excellentbto me and on par with good Texas bbq places. It’s not easy to find beef brisket in Kenosha. I’m glad when I get a craving now I have a place to go.
