Made locally popular Franks is a staple to the downtown area. However that is mostly due to nostalgia and not the food. Bland food. Cramped quarters. Somewhat unfriendly. Not all people but many of the staff were too busy to have the time for a more personal experience. the cook was an excellent multitasker as she was nonstop. You know you’re in the right place when you show up at 10:30 am on a random Wednesday and a diner is full and you have to wait a bit for a table.

Fun experience. Be a Julie not a Kevin. Could tell staff loved their work and were having fun doing it. HUGE portions! Homemade toast is a MUST have. And they move the customers through without making you feel rushed.
