The 1844 Table & Mash offers a pleasant ambience for a celebratory night out, with friendly and attentive service. The restaurant features a cozy atmosphere that is not crowded, making it a great place to enjoy a relaxed evening. The prime rib was the best, perfect, and the medallions with the cowboy butter was excellent. Dessert was amazing, especially the butterscotch budino. The poutine appetizer was delicious and generous, perfect for sharing. The French onion soup was topped with a lot of cheese and had many onions, though the broth was a bit salty. The calamari was light and not greasy, and the peppers added a nice touch. The bourbon selection is outstanding, and the venue is now very beautiful, enhancing the overall experience. The cheese curds appetizer was super. While sometimes it may lack customers, it remains worth a visit for flavorful dishes and great service. The restaurant also provides a lovely view over the bar area.
