“During covid the whole place got a little makeover, Gym Peerenboom handed it down to his son and daughter in law and they are slowly modernizing but not too much! Definitely still a dive bar! No credit card machine but an atm is available! No food but you can order butches or Marty's or whatever else and bring it in! Pot lucks during certain events and games. Very big on the Brewers! Happy hour all day every day!“

Their coffee is smooth and flavorful, their Bloody Mary is top notch, and their beer selection is pleasantly satisfying. Their staff are down to earth, friendly and attentive. “First time at Kountry Bar (I know I know - shameful!!!!) but the beer was ice cold, the atmosphere was amazing, the bartenders were friendly and personable but the burger - OMG the burger was f-ing fantastic. I had the ghost pepper blue burger and it was seriously the best burger I’ve had in…… well, I don’t know when. My husband had the tenderloin sandwich and also loved it. We will most definitely be back. Seriously - you need to visit this bar and grill. You will not regret your decision to stop by and treat yourself!!! 💪🏼“

“Just visited for the first time during Mile of Music and that was THE BEST burger I’ve had in a really long time. Despite it being very busy, the service was great and my food came much quicker than expected. The burger patty was so juicy and delicious and I loved the reaper ranch and cheese curds too. You’re doing it right!! I’ll definitely be back soon. 😋“
“Every time I go to the I stopped there.. excellent drinks excellent bartenders… I will always stop there.. last time I was around the place they had salsa dancing lessons.. I should’ve tried, but I’m afraid.. definitely would recommend this place to anybody that loves margaritas or handcrafted cocktails!! Five stars!!“

“Had lunch with my family today. Food and service were great! I do want to give a shout out at the manager (I think!?) My 9 year old had trouble getting some food down and I sprang up to help him on his side of the table. She noticed me jumping up to help and was behind us within seconds asking if we were ok. He did eventually get it up on his own-- but she was amazing in recognizing an issue and tending to it right away. Much appreciated!“

“We like sitting at the bar. The stools are jammed so tight together and made access really clumsy and difficult (I'm 140# she is 118#). I mean, you're gonna have to get up to take a leak or get a smoke at some point. Otherwise we REALLY had an enjoyable time. Amber was on fire and never missed a beat! I was really flipped when I learned that this wasn't the original location! Amazing what a 40+ absence will do! 👍❤️“

“Watched this place change hands a number of times. Got the pleasure of going with family and i always see friends here. It's christmas time and it's certainly decorated for it!!!! If you ever get here on thursday nights, Kareoke is exceptional here. p.s. got to love the new Owner. ❤️“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Appleton area. However, I was disappointed with the front-desk folks’ lack of creative thinking and can-do attitude. When I called before arriving, I mentioned the number of people in my party and mentioned that I will also need a high chair. He said nothing available inside but patio is open and lots of seats are readily available. When we arrived, he was right, nobody was sitting in the patio. Bad news came after we were taken to our table, “sorry, we don’t have high chair available for at least another hour!” I understand that this may happen, but why do you tell me 5 mins before I arrive that you have everything available? Very disappointing, but this is even more disappointing when it comes from one of my favorite restaurants and I had guests with me.“

“I just stumbled across this quaint little Irish🍀 pub in my opinion, and right off the bat I must say solid with a capital S❗️🍀 the conversation was the owners john, Andy and another dude I forgot his name haha little buzzed up I've been trying to find a nice place where I could call home or I can just go chill and have a good vibes and good people and I believe I have found that spot! The Price Is Right The Vibes are great you'd be a fool not to check this place out 100% my place ❗️🍀 turn off the bat at produced quality across the table they have some original recipes, and just a good original vibe that you don't find in today's world real knows real❗️“

“Visited on Friday night Aug 8th. Definitely would go back if ever in the area again. Bartender was spot on and the drinks were as well. Had a weller full proof neat and also a barrel aged maple black walnut old fashion. Both delicious. Prices are on the high side for a straight pour of bourbon.“

“Oh, Club Tavern, where have you been all my life? I’ve lived in Menasha 35+ years, and I have never been to Club Tavern until tonight. This was hands down one of the best meals (blackened tuna) that I have ever had!“
“THEY HAVE USB CHARGING PORTS where most bars have a "coat rack" type thing and I have NEVER seen or ever heard of a bar w the sort. This bar is chill and cheap and respectful and underplayed since it's half a second out of the way but is MOST DEF worth the 30 second trip out of your way from the main bars in downtown little chute“

“Wife and I had a little time to kill so we walked in on a Friday afternoon, had some of their monthly special drinks. The Hocus Pocus and the ButterBeer, both were amazing drinks. We spent time playing the pinball machines and at only two game tokens for pinball can't complain. Token exchange is .25 cents/token. Would come back no question about it.“

“What can we say about Bob's Inn? It has longevity and the name is important. There is a crowd that has been there since maybe they were born.... And then the oddlings that show up after 10pm if they are still open. Good selection except the rum. Bartenders are really fun. Just an overall place to go if you are not pushing for bar close.“

“A legendary staple of downtown Appleton. You'll have a hopping good time if your looking to eat or drink. Their grill kicks ass, the wings are some of the best in the valley. Drink specials and one of the most rocking stages at mile. If you get a big beer in one of their Mondo mega mugs your guaranteed to have a FROGGING GOOD TIME. Big shout out to Sharron one of the coolest business owners in Appleton. Thanks for all the good times over the years.“
