During covid the whole place got a little makeover, Gym Peerenboom handed it down to his son and daughter in law and they are slowly modernizing but not too much! Definitely still a dive bar! No credit card machine but an atm is available! No food but you can order butches or Marty's or whatever else and bring it in! Pot lucks during certain events and games. Very big on the Brewers! Happy hour all day every day!

In a world brimming with watering holes, this Peerenboom's Bar is just 'okay-ish'. I wished for a more sparkling experience, but it ended up flat, like a stale ale. Ordering anything beyond the tap felt like asking for a unicorn. And not being a regular, I felt more like a tourist than a local. My hubby and I used to frequent this spot, but lately, it feels like we're square pegs in round holes. ???

Delicious food and generous portions. Very attentive wait staff, even with a 30 minute delay for seating. Popular, but not crowded.

Small town bar, small town hospitality. If you are in town you need to swing in to Peerenbooms (JP’s) and have a beverage with the locals!
