Another amazing bar in La Crosse. Just a block away from Menards in a quiet neighborhood you will find this gem! From the owner to the servers you can feel the authentic home town pub vibe.
We were there last Friday night, and the bartender was horrible. Her attention was mainly on a couple of customers at the bar, and when she did move, she didn't look around to see who else needed to be waited on. Then she would stop by the cash register and scroll on her phone. It could have been more tolerable if she was nice or had a personality. She made us feel like we were bothering her when we finally did get her attention. We will give this place another try...
This is what a La Crosse Northside Bar is about. This was my first time at Genzies for a Packer game and I walked a huge crowd of regulars. However, everyone treated me very well. A couple let myself and my friend sit at their table and watch the game. Meanwhile Dewey Genz and his staff working swiftly to fill drink orders. I ordered the Bloody Mary and was not disappointed.
