I have been to Howies 6 times and out of the 6 times I have been disappointed. Don't know the employees name however he has a tattoo on his neck and a Cresent moon on by his left eye. If he is 1 of your managers I will never be back. You call yourself La Crosse's home town bar. I have lived here for 66 years and will never go back. Seriously close at 9pm on Sunday night football. Went to Howies this morning 6 people in restaurant we were 2 of them. Sat at bar for 5 mins while bartender stood and talked to customers. Got zero service, not even an acknowledgement. Got up and walked out.
Our family came to Howies after my daughter raved about this place. We brought my brother and his daughter with. We got to sit up top so our waitress had to carry our drinks and food to up to us. If you haven’t met waitress Jessica W yet you must! She was a rock star! She kept our drinks full and got our food to us in a timely manner. She was so friendly and we all loved her.
