I am disappointed to hear that the bar at the La Crosse/Onalaska store (and all Hy-Vee locations) will close April 30. It was managed and staffed very well. This was something that made Hy-Vee unique, and now it will be less so. I guess dropping Wahlburgers was a step in that direction. No thanks to the Corporate Office of Hy-Vee, Inc.
I use Hy-Vees weekly ads and it seems every other week or so they have a two day sale so many wonderful bargains
This is my fifth and last trip to Wahlburgers in HyVee... the bartender spends more time out from behind the bar then she does behind the bar... last night December 27th she was in the customer area eating while we were waiting for drinks, completely being ignored.... Then after eating she went behind the bar to make drinks without washing her hands... further, she handled garbage, removing garbage bag from the garbage cans and continued on making more drinks without washing her...read full review
