I am disappointed to hear that the bar at the La Crosse/Onalaska store (and all Hy-Vee locations) will close April 30. It was managed and staffed very well. This was something that made Hy-Vee unique, and now it will be less so. I guess dropping Wahlburgers was a step in that direction. No thanks to the Corporate Office of Hy-Vee, Inc.
I don't know what these people who are giving 1-star reviews expect from a chain grocery store? If you want authentic Chinese, then go get it. If you want solid American/Chinese that fulfills your craving, for an extremely affordable price and large portion, then come here. I don't understand the people on here who want authentic Chinese food for cheap, but are baffled when this chain grocery store, that originated in Iowa, doesn't taste like they are vacationing...
Great quality food and excellent service! Our cashier, I believe Riley was his name, was very pleasant. Also Keara at the pizza station provided excellent service, bringing our pizza directly to us after noticing where we were sitting. So rare to see good customer service. Keep it up!
