One of the best Mexican options in town. Great service, seated quickly and served quickly. Food portion is great and taste amazing. Visit this place very often. Service is fast even when they are busy.

My family goes out for Mexican food a lot - and I mean A LOT. So for this place to rise to the top of the list is an accomplishment in itself. So many good things, starting with complimentary chips & salsa, which apparently isn’t the norm in La Crosse. We saw quite a few places in the Google search results that charged for chips & salsa, which is the main reason we asked the barista at the coffee shop we were at to recommend a place where they’re complimentary.
Free is great, but these were free and crave worthy. The salsa…oh, the salsa!! It has the most perfect flavor balance! I honestly don’t think I can recall another salsa that’s better than theirs. Additionally, they serve a delicious white sauce alongside the salsa (as many places do) but, again, it’s better than anywhere I’ve ever had it! Thankfully, that’s not where the flavor explosion ended.
My husband ordered the Señor Burrito with chicken and it was massive & delicious, covered in burrito & cheese sauce and served with a large side lettuce salad with pico de gallo. I ordered the chicken enchiladas verdes with excellent verde sauce & served with a large helping of rice, beans, and lettuce & tomato side salad drizzled with sour cream. If I’m being insanely nitpicky, the shredded chicken could’ve been a tad more tender, but that honestly is the only fault that I could find. The servers were also efficient and pleasant. Outstanding experience all around that left me wishing I didn’t live over 2 hours away! If we were closer, we’d definitely replace our local go-to Mexican place with Señor Villa!

Very disappointed. Went there per the 4+star reviews that we were seeing at Yelp thinking the mexican food was going to be really good and it was not at all. We could have gotten better food at the Taco Bell. Everything was covered in too much sauce or relish. Not going there again.

We ate at Senor villa last night, as we have many times before. Carlos was our waiter (he’s taken care of us so many times and greets us so warmly even if he’s not waiting on us). We had just come from seeing my Dad who had been placed in the ICU earlier that day, so not a great day to start. Carlos has no idea, but he absolutely turned our day around with his warm smile and presence. Keep up the awesome work!

This place was really good. It’s actually one of the best Mexican spots I’ve had in a while. It’s also close to campus as well, which makes it easily accessible. Everyone at this place was nice and welcoming. Keep up the great work!

We all had different kinds of burritos and all were very good. The queso type dip and salsa was also really good. Our server was great. He was very friendly and on point. Definitely will go back.

We were passing through and looking to have some good salsa with dinner. We had the fajitas and tacos and enjoyed both. The chicken was seasoned well and we're flavorful. We liked the salsa very much. They also had a white sauce for dipping... kind of like a southwest ranch which was great on the tacos.

There at 3 ish so after lunch rush, Mazatlan dish shrimp quesadilla and cream and shrimp enchilada was great, The chicken chimichanga was all chicken . Rice and beans on the side was super filling . Chips and salsa was always a great start..

One of the best tacos I have had. Very filling and full of flavor. The sides were also generous in portion size. The staff was also very attentive to the needs we had and friendly. We were visiting desoto Wisconsin and drove to lacrosse. I recommend stopping out for an authentic Mexican dish. The establishment was also nice and clean. Will visit again next time we come to lacrosse.
