Nice dive bar, staff was friendly, place was clean and kept up, selection was good enough, it was weird, it looked and felt like a neighborhood bar. Yet whenever I've been, the crowd is alot of douchy college kids. Somehow they are the majority and simultaneously they seem to not belong. Maybe that's unavoidable with it being on 3rd st. And I probably shouldnt hold it against them. That being said, the staff is always top notch.

This is unironically the best bar in La Crosse if you like 90s country and punk rock. The bartender Maria serves drinks as fast as she can and is always giving out great service. You can’t have a bad time at this place and my boys and I come every month. Don’t miss this gem.

The best bar I’ve ever been to! If you are a Packer fan and a fan of Great Music (80s, 90s, 2000s and Todays Hits) especially - this is the place for you! Not to mention, the bartenders are great - Maria is the absolute best!! She makes the best drinks and treats you with nothing but kindness and good energy (: 10000% recommend this bar to anyone who is ever visiting or happens to be in La Crosse, WI! ??

Definitely won’t be coming back was there last night with some friends and one of my friends happens to be black from the start of our interaction with the bartender we could tell that there was some racial motivation, behind how poorly, we were treated and to the owner of this establishment you should know that everybody should be treated equally
Can confirm the review from Kaitlynn: The owner is trash. At one time Shooters was a fun place to go, fun music, pictures of attendees on the wall having a good time.Of course the bar was thrn run by someone else.Since then it has become the rebirth of Chapter II.
