My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and had an amazing meal! The staff were friendly and polite and the food was very delicious, I highly recommend the shrimp baked in white wine and butter and their giant prime rib :)

Samatha was our waitress- didn’t bring my lemon nor our bread- sat 15 min with no wine/ she seemed more worried about her friends at a table and never apologized for anything- I’d never come back because it of this.

First time here and was so excited but she only came over to our table twice.
She needs to learn how to be a server.

Unfortunately, we won’t be back!

First time here for New Year’s Eve! OMG!!!! This place was sooooo awesome! My hubby had the prime rib and I had the Fillet. Fabulous great tasting! We are from Strawberry Point Iowa and will be back and will make sure all our friends know about this place!!!

Best restaurant to eat prime rib, lobster and salmon. The salad bar is the best. They never disappoint! Our family loves the historic Freighhouse.

We ordered the filet mignon and prime rib and both were overcooked and poorly seasoned. I would not go back.

We waited in the bar for over 45 minutes and never once got served, greeted, the people seating people were the only people that said anything to us. We ended up walking out never being served. I have been coming here for such a long time, almost every birthday, anniversary, and to not even be greeted is ridiculous. They were busy and I have worked in the service industry so I understand delays, but a simple greeting and we will be with you shortly. The server continued to go to the same 3 tables (of large groups) and ignored us.

This is an absolute must stop if you're visiting the lacrosse area. The building is amazing. And the people who restored it did absolutely wonderful job. Amazing photos all over the walls covering the past of lacrosse

I had the special seafood on a Saturday night. It was over cooked and tasteless. I took 4 bites and couldn't eat it anymore. The spinach artichoke was good and salad bar. The menus are worn and ripped. Bar service (while we waited for a table) was very good. Waitress was okay, wouldn't acknowledge when I talked. Obviously assumed we had been there before, because of the way she didn't ask questions and made assumptions. Will not be back.

There's a reason it's usually busy. Probably the best supper club in the area

Not the Freight House of Old! I have to give an average review because at best the whole experience was just average. The salad bar was ho hum - it used to be the freshest salad bar in town. The veggies were cut into giant hunks, like no care was given to setting it up. The croutons used to be THE BEST - now they are like any other crouton out of a bag. Our entrees were just okay - but for the price we paid they should have been exceptional. I watched my husband eating his prime rib as if he was a bear - there was no way to cut it, it was so tough. Medium came back raw, which looked the same as the medium rare one my son ordered. We should have sent it back, instead we took it home in a box to try and cook it better ourselves. Just sad to see such an iconic restaurant going down the tubes. Please bring it back to life!
