Had a really wonderful lemon cream latte with their house made syrup. Delicious, not over steamed, not bitter and very smooth! Lemon cream scones to go with it! A+

It would be even better if you shared the new photos of the room.

I have had 2 maple brown sugar Oatmilk lattes here on separate occasions, and they have been the best coffees of my life!!! I am a barista myself and I can tell they care about the quality of the drinks they put out.

This coffee shop is the cutest, and very reasonably priced:)

July 12 & 13, 2025 (5 ⭐s) - Tucked away inside the Charmant Hotel is a wonderful coffee shop. It serves excellent coffee, in a quaint setting, with service provided by a great team of baristas. This is a must visit for coffee whether you are a hotel guest or happen to be in La Crosse.

The coffee is from Up Coffee Roasters of Minneapolis. The Parlour serves the, always freshly ground in house, for all its coffee drinks from drip to Americano, espresso and latte. During our stay at the hotel, I tried the drip, espresso, cappuccino and several Americano. Each cup was full bodied with a perfect after taste. The cappuccino was frothy and truly delightful. Iced coffee drinks, hot chocolate, a variety of teas and some pastry are also available.

I highly recommend The Parlour at The Charmant for a truly 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ cup of coffee.

Went in for a winter warm up and the staff was great. Had many options and even some recommendations to try. Ended up with an apple Americano.

Absolutely the most charming coffee shop you will ever find. Don't let the high end look and feel of the place fool you, the people that work here are super friendly and down to earth. I came in wearing my work overalls and they were extremely pleasant. Cappuccino was great.

I've been to dozens of luxury hotel properties and I was genuinely shocked at the level of service at this boutique hotel. Every person we met was incredibly personable and genuinely a pleasure to speak with. No request was an inconvenience. We had our baby girl with us and spent almost our entire trip just enjoying the hotel. The rooftop is lovely, the parlor is such a great place to grab a morning tea/pastry, and the lobby and restaurant offer delicious food and drinks. We are already talking about coming back so we can finally see La Crosse!

This was to be our first stop on a road trip out west. La Crosse might have been worth a more extended stay and The Charmant Hotel would have been the highlight of the trip. The hotel location is directly adjacent to a delight riverfront park where Viking Cruise river boats dock and disembark guests. There are quality restaurants within easy walking distance in addition to an on-site destination bar and dining room. Valet parking was seamless. Luggage carts and baggage assistance are readily available. Highly recommended location and hotel.

As residents of the Twin Cities, my wife and I had been looking forward to staying at the Charmant for quite a while for a little weekend getaway. We took the opportunity this past Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately, our stay was a disappointment. The hotel building, lobby, and rooms are certainly beautiful, just like you would expect of an upscale boutique hotel. The room amenities are non existent. No robes (you can buy them if you want, but they are not offered complimentary during your stay), no minibar, no coffee maker. They give you 2 tokens a day to be redeemed at the downstairs coffee shop, but you can only redeem them for drip coffee. No cold brew or specialty drinks. It would have been a nice touch for a $360 daily rate. The hotel building was originally a candy factory, and they give you 2 minuscule pieces of chocolate when you check in. No chocolate with the housekeeping service, a nice touch that most equivalent hotels elsewhere would most definitely offer. They apparently have a great rooftop restaurant upstairs, which we planned to enjoy during our 2nd night. However, it was "closed for the day" during Labor Day Sunday, with no other dining options made available to guests at 8:30pm, other than a very restricted snack menu from the lobby bar. Overall, a beautiful boutique hotel, certainly priced as such, with the service level of a Holiday Inn at best. For an extra cost of $10/day/guest at most, they could probably have done a lot to surprise you and delight you. It's a mystery to me why they have chosen not to.

The Charmant Hotel was so charming and well appointed. Rooms are quiet and the air conditioning rocks! It was 102 degrees on one of the days we stayed. The location is walkable to most everything. The restaurant has a great brunch and we enjoyed the lobby area in the evening. The rooftop bar is also very quaint to have a drink. Highly recommend!
