Food was mediocre given the environment and cost. Service was good. Had the fillet mignon and my wife the scallops. Fillet was good, potatoes were not flavored, asparagus okay. Scallops were okay.

The restaurant is beautiful and peaceful, just perfect! While it is rather minor, the waitstaff forgot to refill my requested beverage until nearly the end of our eating. The restaurant only had 3 other tables, so not a case of being too busy. In a restaurant of this caliber and price, I expect nearly 100% every time. Aside from that, we were very pleased with our choices: salmon and French onion soup.

Food at The Charmant was excellent. Not only in taste, but presentation as well. Waitstaff throughout the establishment, not just the restaurant, are kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. We come for a special night out and will always choose The Charmant.

We dined in the dining room for dinner and lounge for breakfast- reservations mandatory. The service was friendly and prompt. The salmon and chicken were cooked perfectly. We also tried the vegetarian mushroom dish which was good but not the same level as the salmon and chicken. Bone marrow appetizer and creamed greens were wonderful. Breakfast salmon Benedict was also delicious. Great ambience

The food was very good - we were there for brunch. The menu is a bit limited but we all found good options for our meal. The croque madame was excellent and flavorful. The fries were thin cut, crunchy and salty goodness. The shakshuka was pretty good, but not as much “sauce” as elsewhere. It was pretty chunky with onion, and less saucy, but still decent. The service could have been more attentive. We didn't get refills on coffee and iced tea. The table next to us got constant refills on mimosas. The ambiance of the restaurant was very pleasant and upscale. All in all, it's possible we will return if we visit the area again.

Our appetizers were French onion soup and crab cakes ~ absolutely delicious! Our entrees: chicken breast, surf and turf and scallops ~ MOUTHWATERING AND DEVINE! Our server, Luis, was exceptional and it was the best Christmas dinner!

The live music was bad and loud, could not enjoy time with family and could barely communicate with the waiter. The food was ok but did not justify the cost. The best thing was the staff.

We went on Christmas Eve and the ambiance was amazing with the music and the Christmas lights outside. It was very busy so service and the bar was a little slow but the server was apologetic. Good food and the Wisconsin Old Fashioned was delicious and they even brought out the lunch special for my daughter who was not into the Christmas food special. Extremely happy with our experience.

We were there for Sunday brunch on Xmas eve. The room was quiet, tasteful, the menu varied and we very pleased with the service, attention and quality of the food. Strongly recommend the mushroom tartine for vegetarians.

Excellent food. Excellent s. It was our anniversary and they had a card for us, gave us a dessert on the house, and a free chocolate to take home to our son. I don't drink so I ordered a Shirley Temple and it was the best I've ever had. Everything was perfect.

Took 2 hours to get our dinner. Tables around us came, are, and left before we got our dinner. When dinners finally were served, they came at different times, so we didn't eat at the same time. Our reservation was at 6:30, we sat at 6:35, it seemed like the waitress just kept overlooking us. 45 minutes for our appetizer to come and another hour for our dinner. kitchen stafff was standing our talking and cleaning at the end of the night, and we had no dinner yet. we if our kids with us, they were so patient, but by 8:30, we were too tired to eat. scallops and salmon came out cold. no apologies from waitress. restaurant was not very busy. no big parties. bartender was excellent at the bar for a pre-dinner drink and appetizer. we will not return for dinner again and would not recommend. frustrating for a special family christmas dinner we had made reservations 2 months in advance.
