The Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern

The food was out of this world, my friend who drives beef cattle said this was the best steak you've ever had.

Fabulous food, unmatched service, and lovely ambiance. As a dedicated carnivore, I appreciated a perfectly prepared steak accompanied by succulent scallops. Profesional, informed staff made our dinner feel comfortable andd special. We were there for a special occasion, but The Waterfront deserves another visit soon.

Everything was so good!! We always think we are going to to try something new when we come through La Crosse, and then we don't. From the fresh oysters to the key lime dessert. Amazing❤️ Service was spot on!!

I cannot say enough about this restaurant, the people, the food, everything. It was expensive but you can see what you are paying for. Ambience is wonderful, service was first class, food was exceptional, and dessert was amazing. Steaks are good, drinks are substantial, dessert was sinful. All in all, a wonderful dining experience.

A great steak and seafood find The steak was seasoned perfectly, it was cooked to perfection and cut like butter. The salmon was also cooked and seasoned well. The sides and dessert was delicious. It wouldn't be fair not to mention Natalie our server, she was engaging, knowledgeable about the menu and sourcing of the ingredients. She contributed to the overall fun of our evening. Only con is they do not have an expresso offering. I would eat their again on another visit and would recommend the restaurant.

An absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. Every single person ensured our complete and total comfort, from the hostess to the server to the staff assisting with bringing our meals out. We tried some of the recommended dishes including their seasonal squash ravioli dish, with a side of asparagus. Thoroughly impressed with the service, style, and price overall.

Waterfront is our favorite restaurant and never disappoints! Food is always delicious and very hot.

One of the best meals we have ever had. Everything was superb from the service to the flavors of the food. Our server Sarah made our meal even more enjoyable with her outstanding service. Well done

Staff was super friendly and the food was amazing! My girlfriend and I were there for our 1 year and the dessert that they gave us ad a congratulations was super delicious! Definitely will go again!

If you cook steak as a staple on the menu the temps have to be better. Our well was pink. The med rare was black and blue and my chicken must have been cooked a week before they served it to me. It was drier than Death Valley. :-(. The other items were good but we came for the meat and it wasn’t great. All the other items got it to three stars. But the meat abuse is unforgivable.
