Intermezzo Pizza: Formerly Uno Venti offers phenomenal stone fire pizza with a crust that is crispy outside and yet chewy, and the sauce is stellar. Options are available for all palettes. Specific pizzas like the greek goddess and the wild mushroom one were superb. The artichoke dip is also a standout. The atmosphere is cozy, classy, and nice, with an awesome chalkboard covering an entire wall where kids can draw. Prices are competitive and very reasonable, and the restaurant is walking distance from all of the downtown hotels. Service is a highlight: Ryan provided amazing customer service, Zirellia did a phenomenal job as a server, and manager Kayla is the cherry on top, always stopping by the table to say hello and ensure happiness. She is friendly, funny, and efficient. This is a must stop if visiting La Crosse.
