Stopped for lunch after an appointment in Ladysmith. Tried the Ladysmith burger with mushrooms and bacon on it, with the lettuce, tomato and onions on the side; and French fries. The burger was perfectly cooked and juicy with plenty of mushrooms on top and melted cheese, with crispy bacon strips. This is a great place to stop for a good meal. The food was good. The service was great. The rest rooms were clean. We have stopped before and will stop again when driving through Ladysmith.
Very friendly staff, went at an odd hour of the day so the restaurant was empty and I sat right away. I got the fried chicken plate which came out so fresh, and was delicious, you do have to wait for it to be cooked. Mashed potatoes were just ok. I did not find anything special about them. Also the salad is just a basic salad but ranch taste homemade.
