“Wow! Our first time here and if I could give the service more than 5 stars, I would! It's rare that you see a true team anymore, and everyone here worked together to make sure we had the best experience. A waitress (not even ours) came over to tie balloon animals for our daughter while we waited, although there was not much wait! Even though we came on a busy Friday night, we hardly waited at all, they've got things down to a science. Each person we encountered treated us like it was a slow Tuesday night, not a crazy Friday night. And the food...AMAZING! My husband had the haddock and I think it tasted almost like lobster! And on Fridays they have a potato bar-cottage fries, tater tots, baked potatoes, regular fries, mashed potatoes...and a salad bar in addition! I was full before my food even came. Thank you to everyone who worked tonight, it was the best service and food I've had in a long time!”

“Last night I decided to go to The Black Otter for take out. I got the deep fried haddock. The portions were big which was nice. The fillets were flaky and melted in your mouth. “I have been a customer for over 40 years. We picked up 6 dozen buns for a party yesterday and they honestly are disappointing. They truly taste a day old, dry and brittle to the cut. What happened to your squishy buns? Just disappointed maybe next time they will be better.”

All were very good and portions were NOT stingy! I can't wait to try their authentic gyro! My husband ordered the gyro omelette with the red potatoes and pancakes.
