Sunset Harbor Bar & Grill - Lake Wisconsin

Me and my family stopped in on a Friday night around 5pm. We found a table and sat for 20 minutes. The bar was full, but the server walked past us several times. No other staff greeted us, let alone acknowledged us.

If you're looking for a nice small town bar on the water this is it. We had driven up to the lake for boating with friends and stopped after for some food. Bartender Megan was very nice. It was quiet when we arrived with only about 8 customers there. One of the "regulars" bought the bar a round of drinks even though he had no idea who we were. Quesadilla that we had was very good. Should've tried the burgers but didn't see it was half price burgers until we had already ordered. The place was clean and orderly 10/10 would recommend

Bartender Nate was fantastic. We came in on a whim and he made perfect old fashioneds for me and my friends. He was super busy and despite the other bartender not being much help, he pulled it off and gave us a great experience.

Stopped on a Sunday for supper. They were out of buns, cheese curds, french fries, etc. Food was awful, staff didn't take ownership, only complained or placed blame elsewhere. Such a shame..

My girlfriend and I came here for dinner this past Saturday. I had the Prime Rib Sandwich with crinkle-cut fries. I don't remember which burger my girlfriend had, but I did taste it and it was really good. We also had an order of cheese curds that were tasty.My sandwich was AMAZING. I was blown away by the generous portion of prime rib (a large slab of beef). The sandwich was delicious. I was surprised by the fries because when I order crinkle-cut fries I assume they are going to be that classic crinkle-cut fries that you would get from Sysco, but these were a bit smaller and had a good amount of browning on them which made them super crispy and tasty.The server/bartender was really friendly and attentive.That atmosphere feels local bar on the water (which it is) nice and clean inside. My only "critique" is that the lighting in the bar was oppressively bright. I am being dramatic, but it's bright enough that it feels like it's last-call lighting.I am new to the area and am very happy that this place is right down the road because I am definitely going to come in to check out their other specials.

Menu has been reduced to limited choices, recently. Prices are high. Pricing policies are greedy. Cheeseburger, no chips. $15.95. Dirty bar tops due to under staffing. The food is good, darn it! It just isn’t as enjoyable as it’s been in the past.

Excellent atmosphere, service and food! Would've given 5 stars, but it was a slow day and they were breaking in a new cook. We showed up with 11 people in our group and it took a little bit to get our food orders and correct additions

Horrible place and will not be coming back are plates were awful burnt food the server didn’t even get our orders right only one of the orders was right, but yet still burnt asked for a side cup of sauce for the chicken strips, and they only brought me a little half a cup of sauce. Very disappointing. Definitely not coming back I would rather eat McDonald’s then ever eating there agian !

First and last time to eat here. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and sat at a table. I ordered chargrilled chicken fillet with lettuce, onion and tomato. Was served small triangle of extremely dry, breaded chicken on a big bun. Onions were sliced about 1/2" thick. Tiny serving of the coleslaw side was vinegar and oil and crunchy. Only one waitstaff and she was also tending bar, which was very busy. One of our group was served an entree she didn't order. By the time her original meal came we were ready to go, so we took her food as a takeout. They need more staff and someone in the kitchen who can put together a simple meal. The chicken sandwich I ordered was pretty awful.

Stopped in for a quick bite when out with friends. Some things on menu a little high, but others very reasonable. Fingers, fries, cheese curd and onion rings very good and a decent amount.
