My husband and I visit Cafe Maya regularly, and we love it. We get Cafe de Olla which is a delicious spiced coffee, and truffles which are inexpensive and delicious. We've had the pastries a couple times and they are awesome.
Great local coffee stop with friendly staff; comfortable tables to chat or study, and a few hightops if you like to stand while you work. Warm up with a chocolate Maya or horchatté (latté made with horchata). Good soups on weekdays, and a nice selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches and wraps.
I was on Odana road looking for some coffee and found Cafe Maya.I decided to order a Breakfast Burrito and a coffee.The Burrito was simple. Eggs, beans and cheese. Pressed in a panini press. It came with a salsa verde. Unfortunately, I didn't find it to be very flavorful. I hope there are better things on the menu. The coffee tasted over roasted and a little on the burnt side.There was no cream at the counter, so I was able to practice my Spanish and ask for milk!Service...
