Camp Trippalindee has a great atmosphere and views of lake mendota and downtown. They have board games and card games, as well as some camp-inspired dishes like smores. This is a great spot to grab a drink and enjoy the views
We ate lunch, don't drink alcohol and brought our kids. Had a great time playing games and enjoyed the vibe!!! Great casual lunch stop. Nice to have a bar where you can relax and just enjoy each others company.
My 20-something son suggested Camp Trippalindee and I laughed at the 80's movie reference. But when we got there, my laugh turned into a giant grin. Camp Trippalinee is the weekend camper of my childhood, with great cocktails!The interior is decorated to look like a camper or camping lodge - complete with matching plaid seat pads annd curtain, simulated wood paneling and mismatched 70's era pendant lights over the bar.
