Great food, fresh everything, I'm pretty sure they make bread a d the mozzarella cheese. So fresh and so delicious. I've only been there 2 times, both times everyone's food has been great. This place is busy, plan ahead when going here. Whatever you do, makesure you add at least a couple chocolate chip cookies. After you have them, you will know exactly what I am talking about! Yummy ? Both times I went, I had to-go orders. Remember, this place is busy especially during eating hours

This is my go to place when I am in the area, words cant explain just how good they are, they do get a line but it moves fast so don't worry, also some of their specials when they have farmers market are amazing, they did a fruit with basil and Stracciatella that was awesome.

Sandwich was delicious, I ordered the Manzo and it was perfect. I was looking for a full meal with unique soup sandwich side and dessert but was very disappointed. There is only one of each and it was same food I make at home. I took home the spicy chickpeas with Parmesan garlic flatbread and have enjoyed them for lunch. My biggest disappointment was no clear cue so I had an employee tell me I was cutting in line. I wanted to dine in but all eaters have to wait in a lobby with no seating while their food was prepped. Then I get my food and the only available seats are at dirty tables. I ended up sitting with a friendly couple and not a single employee bussed the dining room while we ate.

Insanely good. The Italian is next level, the Dutch crunch bread is home made and has a perfect outer crisp. MUST get a chocolate chip cookie, perfectly dense. Not too soft, not too hard, with a flakey seat salt on top to balance the sweetness. Would go here every day if I lived here.

The Sullivan is the best sandwich I've ever put in my mouth. Going 9 months of pregnancy unable to eat cold cuts was absolutely torture, and I dreamed about this sandwich regularly. Complete ecstacy eating it postpartum!

One of the top sandwich places in the Madison area. Highly recommend getting lunch here, but because of how popular it is, it does get crowded in there. Also, with popularity, comes a wait. Overall, they're pretty quick but so plan to wait in a line, and wait 10-20 minutes for your food! (Worth the wait) Also if you love cookies, this cookie is a must!

Great service and a tasty, unique version of an Italian sandwich for vegetarians - using thinly sliced butternut squash.
Vegetarian options: There is only one vegetarian sandwich on the menu, but it is really interesting! (Plus, they have a build your own option that you could do instead.) The Vegetalian uses thin slices of butternut squash at a meat alternative. It was really tasty! I also had the spicy chickpeas, which I don't think were spicy at all. Definitely a good sandwich spot to try for vegetarians looking for something other than the same old same old.

This is one of the best, if not the best, sandwich shop in Madison. I am always happy. Huge portions, and the Italian on focaccia is my absolute favorite. The chocolate chip cookies are pretty tasty too!

A really good sandwich. The pepper, lettuce mix was delish and the bread baked fresh. Only wish is for toasty bread but still sooo good as is.

Arguably the best sandwich shop in Madison. From the moment you walk in it is clear the focus is on quality and freshness. Everything is in plain sight; the freshly sliced meats, the vegetables, the fresh baked focaccia - the food theater near is on point be aware that they often sell out and their hours are extremely Limited, so you'll need to plan ahead. The effort is well worth it

Stopped here to experience the work day lunch downtown. The sandwiches were great. We ended up getting the special of the day: Chicken pesto. Fresh bread counter service. i Probably waited in line for about 10 mins. Food was made pretty fast. I didn't sit indoors so I can't rate write about it. But the outside seating was limited.
