Driftless is one of my favorite coffees. So much so that I ordered some to be delivered to me in North Carolina. If you want a really good tasting coffee, look no further. Wish I was closer to a location, but will be in heavy rotation for delivery.
Wonderstate is a lovely, bright coffee shop overlooking Capitol square. I arrived shortly after opening and it was already bustling. I ordered a La Esperanza pour over and a pan au chocolat. The coffee’s flavor and presentation were both nice. The pastry was flaky and tasted good; I’d order it again, but I probably won’t be thinking about how good it was later in the day. There was plenty of seating in a bright area for individuals and small groups.
Super cute shop, great coffee, friendly staff. Make sure you support this local coffee shop rather than going to the Starbucks one block away.

Popular items include the pour over, iced vanilla latte with oat milk, avocado toast, breakfast sandwich, croissant, and baked oatmeal, all well prepared. The quality and service are consistent with other locations. It is highly recommended for its delicious coffee, great flavor in the espresso, and fantastic ambiance, making it a great place for studying or relaxing.
