D’Vino Reviews
My granddaughter and I was touring downtown Madison about two weeks ago, we came across D’Vino as we walked. The special for the day was crab cake and green fried tomatoes, of course we went in to order. The food was amazing. My granddaughter love the atmosphere of the restaurant and so did I .She order a pizza that was the best she ever had. The food was so good, even the water was great. We will be back!
Once again you did not disappoint. We went for brunch this time, EXCELLENT. The food was spectacular, service was great. Our waitress Laura friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Bartender took pride in her craft. Owner is so personable and had come to our table everytime we have been in. Highly recommend!!
Love this place! Our first time eating here tonight. Food was fabulous and the service was beyond amazing. Dino the owner visits every table and makes you really feel like you’re at his house for dinner.

D’Vino offers outstanding shrimp and grits, incredible pizza, and a warm, inviting ambiance. The Italian food and wine are amazing, with a Sicilian-based theme that does not disappoint. The owner, who is also the chef and pastry chef, provides excellent service, engaging with customers and sharing the restaurant's history. The antipasto and calamari are good choices, while dishes like pesto and pea arancino, mussels in white sauce, and classic tiramisu are highly recommended. Recent reviews highlight the great food and cozy atmosphere, with dishes such as the Sicilian filet with tortellini, cooked perfectly with in-house pasta, and the Carbonara, executed flawlessly. The Italian twist on Eggs Benedict with prosciutto and the shrimp scampi are also favorites. The bread is noted as perfect, and prices are very reasonable. Warm lighting creates a cozy environment, and the seating arrangement offers an intimate yet comfortable experience. Specials are seasonal and spectacular, with standout dishes like the fig pizza starter and the Sicilian Chicken, described as incredibly delicious. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the owner often comes out to check on guests. Many say the food tastes like Grandma made it, and the portions are huge. The restaurant embodies the words "cozy and comfort," with relaxed yet attentive servers. The atmosphere is intimate and comfortable, perfect for a special night out. Overall, D’Vino continues to be a place for delicious food, great service, and a welcoming environment.
