Food was great but the service was not good. Took forever to have our server come greet us and get us water. Our cocktails look well over 15 minutes to show up. Table next to us had their server continuously checking and see if they needed more drinks or bread. While we barely got checked in on while we waited.
We came from Ohio & was looking forward to enjoying a birthday dinner for our son after reading the reviews. Unfortunately the server was not welcoming or very a tentative through out the meal. It took a long time to get drinks & we had to ask for bread. It was almost an hour before our entrees arrived & our server never kept us informed or asked if we need anything while waiting. We had to ask for more water & another server assisted us. The manager did comp dessert...
D'Vino is consistently an enjoyable dining experience. The food is delicious. The decor is charming. The music is a wonderful mix of the American Songbook and the 1960s. My husband enjoyed the Fennel Citrus Salad with Shrimp (flavorful and beautifully plated), Bean Soup, and a perfectly prepared Negroni. I love the Spaghetti and Meatballs (Dino's Nana's recipe), a side salad with an excellent balsamic vinaigrette dressing, and a glass of the Chianti Montalbano....
