Had a great time at Fabiola’s. Excellent food in an intimate atmosphere. Pasta and tiramisu were fantastic. But highlight of the evening was the service. In addition to being attentive and responsive, our server Keith was a true food and wine connoisseur. He told us about the specials in such a descriptive and appetizing way, with genuine relish, that almost everyone in our party changed our order. Same thing happened when he described the desserts 😀. Our first visit started with a sherried manhattan and a paloma in the bookstore bar while waiting for a table. Both were well garnished and tasty. The antipasto and bread basket were disappointing, but the entrees were a big improvement. They come with a vegetable, and on this visit it was delicious roasted broccolini. Nice atmosphere, cute vibe. The food was good but there was just something I can’t put my finger on that was missing for me. The drinks are strong so thankfully there was bread on the table to soak some of it up. Overall it was a nice experience and the staff was nice! I’d be willing to try it out again sometime!
