Not a bigger reviewer, but wish I would’ve read more reviews. Bartender told me the cook hated his job and you could really tell in his food. I ordered the most expensive thing on the menu, which was the Madison steak. Not a bad cut of beef, but it was absolutely unflavored and overcooked. Mashed potatoes had no seasoning whatsoever on them. If you like super bland food and honestly, I’m not a big seasoning or hot spice type person, but this is your place! very disappointed!

Good breakfast at the Holiday Inn in Madison. Buffet for $15 with hot food. Quick and easy. Better than you usually find in hotels.

The breakfast is great! The cleanest kitchen, and presentation is beautiful. BUT, not so much at dinner. It was not good at all. Perhaps a menu change would help. Seems to be all fried foods and nothing healthy. Service is always great.

Geiers was closed for a lack of a bartender. Receptionist said it would be open in one hour. Came back in 3 hours, still closed, with no explanation other than "closed". Very poor communication on hotels part. Keep treating customers like this and the other hotels in the area will be a choice for people.

Food was delicious but they didn't bring it to our room. They are not doing room service at this time due to covid restrictions. You can eat in the dining/bar area for right now or you have to go and pick up your order.
