Gigi's Cupcakes Reviews
Ordered a dozen cupcakes for pick up this past Friday online. Two days before someone called me because the website isn’t updated and two of the cupcakes I ordered they don’t make. When I picked them up two lemon dream cupcakes were substituted with lemon raspberry cupcakes (with a white chocolate filling). I would have never ordered anything with white chocolate. I am not sure why I wasn’t asked for replacements. 👎🏻
The cheeseburger cake was a huge hit! We went with the hot cocoa cake with marshmallow filling and yes, it tastes as good as it sounds. Couldn’t have been happier with the cake!
Menu
Gigi's Cupcakes offers a variety of flavors, with some hitting the mark and others falling short. The Oreo, turtle cheesecake, and wedding cake cupcakes are standouts, but some flavors, like the chocolate chip cookie, can be dry. Prices may be steep for the size, with a 7-cupcake purchase costing over $35. The shop has a cute atmosphere, but gluten-free options may not always meet expectations. Customers appreciate the wide selection and often find it hard to choose, sometimes ending up with more than planned. For those with gluten sensitivities, the gluten-free cupcakes are a big hit, often described as beyond delicious. Custom cakes are also popular and can make celebrations memorable. Many visitors praise the cupcakes, claiming some are the best they've ever had, especially the midnight magic cupcake. Overall, Gigi's is seen as a great spot for sweet treats in Madison.
