Glass Nickel Pizza Co. - Madison West

Showed up to get my pizza on time and paid when I walked in the door. Was told my pizza wasn't quite ready so I took a seat. A little while later they came out and sent 2 of our pizzas with the wrong person and had to remake them. In the mean time, I heard them on the phone with the woman who they gave my pizza to and they voided per payment, let her keep the pizza and offered to deliver her order to her. I got a $10 off coupon for my next order and the pleasure of waiting in their lobby to remake the two pizzas they gave away by mistake. It's good food, but that's not good customer service. This is also unfortunately becoming a common issue for them. We have received wrong pizzas multiple times before.

I had a fairly large order and placed it within an hour of needing it. The staff was very accommodating and were working so hard to get our order done as quickly as possible while having several other large orders they were working on at the same time. Thank you so much for getting our order out so quickly! We'll be back for sure!

Another wonderful delivery from Glass Nickel. Always fast, hot and beyond delicious. I highly recommend the Portabella Lugosi, Thai Pie, Cheddy Muenster and Santa Fe pizzas!

Amazing pizza and cheese bread! Shared a Caesar salad and it was fine. Cheese bread was very thick and tasty. Pizza was half bacon cheeseburger minus onion and half pepperoni. It was yummy!! Wish there was more pepperoni. Overall we would make this a regular meal if we lived near.

We were in Madison for the IPMS Model Convention last weekend. All the walking and greeting friends wore us plum out. My sweetie thought ordering a pizza seemed like a good supper after such a day, rather than dining out.

Our Best Western Suites had Glass Nickel Pizza in our local attractions folder. I had my doubts about "Chicky-Chicky, Parm-Parm" pizza. We ordered such with bacon added. When in Madison, do like the Madisonians do!

The delivery arrived handily inside the promised time frame, the driver was courteous, and Chicky-Chicky, Parm-Parm with bacon pizza was plentiful, hot and an exquisite taste treat! Our was a 14" medium size and it was PLENTY! 5 Stars Glass Nickel! Well done, indeed!

Easy to order on line and it came in an hour as anticipated. You get the estimated time once you pay. Wish it was before paying, but not a big deal. Problem is the pizza's were not worth it. Almost $50 with tip and not hot, really tough crust. Light on toppings. Almost no cheese. Disappointing - we ordered both a gluten free pizza for our guest and a Santa Fe Special (BBQ Chicken) - neither was good. Ended up throwing most of it away. My 17 year old would not even finish one piece! LOL - that says a lot. Will not be ordering again - I had their pizza a couple years ago and it was good. Something changed.

Ordered the couch potato pizza with a gluten free crust. They immediately called to inform me that the tater tots were not gluten free to check if that was okay before going ahead with the order. Super grateful for employees who care.

Management is Rude would not replace uncooked pizza. He said, he was just filling in because of spring break. Bad attitude, horrible experience, not impressed. He suggested call the owner. The next day for what a refund will be disputing this charge with Visa. I’ve never been so disappointed with an establishment in my life. see photos below that’s not cheese uncooked dough .

I didn't go in so cannot rate or comment on the atmosphere. The delivery came quickly (under 40 minutes from order). The online ordering system was easy to use. The delivery driver was great!As for the food. The jalapeno poppers were nicely cooked but are similar to the frozen ones available in many stores. The pizza I ordered (Cardiac Arrest) had a tasty sauce, and pretty good toppings, along with lots of cheese. The crust had some chewiness to it which was nice. I would say the pizza was similar to a bar pie and I would say competes with Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa John's and similar. The toppings might be better than it's conpetitors in that list but the pie was quite greasy which diminished my experience a bit. The value is pretty good. I'd give the food a 3.5 star and rounded it up due to the price being reasonable.

I just tried the pizza of the month Nickel Pickle. Pickles on pizza sounded so strange, but yet I wanted to try it. Loved it! Thank you GNP for coming up with unique pizza toppings. This is why I love getting pizza from you and GNP will forever be my favorite pizza place in the Madison area.
