The most amazing dining hall on campus amazing staff amazing options affordable for all you care to eat. Lovely. Beautiful. Mouth-watering. Some of the most delicious cuisine in Madison. Lovely if your vegan as well!
I came to eat at the dining hall but there was a massive protest happening right in front of it. They were loudly calling out UW Madison for keeping monkeys in labs, holding big signs, handing out flyers, and showing disturbing footage from the meat and dairy industries. The monkey protest was so large and visible that it took over the whole entrance, and I completely lost my appetite. To my surprise, they also had the strongest man in Germany there, talking about being vegan....
Loved this place! Great ambience, tons of food choices (even for vegetarians) and super friendly staff. Was thrilled to see chole chawal on the buffet and those red velvet cupcakes were the perfect finish. Amazing value for money!
