Have I had better? Yes. But you don’t go there to have the best pizza. Although all be it, pizza was good! Tavern style just means you’re getting a thin crust pizza, but again I repeat; this was GOOD! This is a cute little spot for a first date. Atmosphere is giving 1920’s Italian mob with the dark basement vibes. Hidden gem. Highly recommend visiting!

Our waitress Lindsey was absolutely amazing! She made us feel welcome right away and kept the energy fun all night. We had some beers and shots along with a great dessert, and she made sure everything came out quickly and just how we wanted. Her friendly attitude and attention to detail really made the experience stand out. Lindsey turned a simple night out into a memorable one — we’ll definitely be coming back!

Always a great night at the Greenbush! Went there after a Badger game, and it was predictably crowded, but our table was ready earlier than we expected, and the hostess actually came to find us where we were waiting next door to let us know. Service & food are always wonderful! Can't wait for our next visit!

Definitely love the place, the vibe, and its history in Madison. The pizza is great too. Interesting how I received a postcard in the mail today from the Greenbush Bar. Just a promotion, no coupons. Yeah, I love coming there, and will....but it was very disappointing on my last attempt when I brought a group of friends from out-of-town and was excited to show them GBB. Only...you were closed for a private party. Big Bummer.

We tried this place last night and it was great!! Everything from our very friendly server to the drinks, pizza and tiramisu!! Only thing is that it's kinda loud down there....just so ya know, but we'll be back!!!
