This speakeasy in the basement of the old Italian Workers Club was such a fun spot! The wedge salad was great with the mustard seed, dill, blue cheese, and nuts. We also got their tavern style pizza with mushrooms, shallots, and basil, which was delicious. It had a little flop but was overall very good. For dessert, the tiramisu was very creamy and tasty. I prefer a heavily coffee soaked base, and while this one did have a coffee soaked bottom, it could have been soaked more. This was a fun spot, and I would definitely go back!

I love the interior it's so cute and I love the lights. Kind of like madison's own mclaren bar from how i met your mother. my friend and i had the byo pizza with goat cheese, onions and arugula and it was truly so good i am 100% going back and gonna have it again

Small and cramped with sloping floors and no place to comfortably wait for a table or get to the bar for a drink while waiting! Waited an hour before giving up and going elsewhere! Must be over their max occupancy!

Very happy with my experience overall.
Crowded on a Wednesday night at 545. That's a good sign. Drinks and starters were delicious. Pizza came out cold but our kind server remedied the issue and I'm very happy we asked them to heat it up again because it was AWESOME .
I will be back for sure.

Greenbush Bar is amazing! The martinis are spot-on, the service is fast and friendly, and the food is incredibly fresh and delicious — especially the pizza, stromboli, and garlic bread. The atmosphere has a warm, cozy vibe that makes it perfect for date nights, casual cocktails, or hanging out with friends. One of the best spots in town. Highly recommend for cocktails and great Italian comfort food!

We went there for the pizza, and it did not disappoint. Thin crust, tavern style, and outstanding. The bread/garlic bread was nothing to write home about, but I did appreciate the boat dish of olive oil and garlic, which is also pictured.
I will absolutely be back. One of my favorite places to go in Madison.

Sometimes when you go to a place so highly recommended, it can’t disappoint because the expectations are so high. This was not the case, it was better than expected. This is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. And I’ve had them all over the country. The ambiance was amazing. Service was also amazing. Just a unique and wonderful place to visit, and come back, and come back again. 🍕🍷
