The place is nicely decorated with a wide open space and a pleasant outdoor area, complete with space heaters for comfort. There are plenty of TVs for viewing sports or old movies. The staff is extremely friendly, and the service is excellent. The restaurant has an incredible ambience, with a unique old-school diner vibe and awesome details. It is incredibly clean, and the food comes out super quick. The classic chicken sandwich, rotisserie chicken sandwich, and chicken and waffles are popular choices. Customers love the regular chicken sandwich, which is fresh and very tender, and some find the flavors rich or different than expected. The French fries are really good, with some saying they can be enjoyed without any condiments. New items like roasted shishito peppers are also being tested and received well. Butterbird is a great spot for lunch, dinner, or just a casual outing, whether dining in or taking out.
