This speakeasy in the basement of the old Italian Workers Club was such a fun spot! The wedge salad was great with the mustard seed, dill, blue cheese, and nuts. We also got their tavern style pizza with mushrooms, shallots, and basil, which was delicious. It had a little flop but was overall very good. For dessert, the tiramisu was very creamy and tasty. I prefer a heavily coffee soaked base, and while this one did have a coffee soaked bottom, it could have been soaked more....
I love the interior it's so cute and I love the lights. Kind of like madison's own mclaren bar from how i met your mother. my friend and i had the byo pizza with goat cheese, onions and arugula and it was truly so good i am 100% going back and gonna have it again
Very happy with my experience overall.
Crowded on a Wednesday night at 545. That's a good sign. Drinks and starters were delicious. Pizza came out cold but our kind server remedied the issue and I'm very happy we asked them to heat it up again because it was AWESOME .
I will be back for sure.
