We had the most amazing time tonight. We did the tasting menu special and everything was delicious. Lily is a wonderful server. She truly cares about her tables and is very knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!
Really great brunch. Good french toast and the omelette was perfection.
My sister and I were seated outside and enjoyed our food but the service could've been better. As a server myself, Im kinda disappointed. She walked away without asking if we were ready, for about 5 minutes; there's only a few items to choose from. Seemed like she was scared to be a server lol. When it came to the bill she just assumed it was separate, didn't check on us, and just rushed a goodbye. It was frustrating because there was 3/4 tables total in the restaurant.. lol
Great little pub.
Hearty farm to table food at a reasonable price. Great tavern atmosphere that got loud and lively after 7pm. While the menu is tilted towards pork and charcuterie there are plenty of vegetarian options. Menu was very seasonal, so we
Loved that.
Portions were huge, in my opinion, for the price. (Compared to hometown Portland, ME)
We split the bouillabaisse and a salad and it still seemed like the portions were large. Big wine list. Did not try cocktails but they looked creative and colorful. This spot will certainly be on the list when we return to Madison.

Fantastic! Highlights were Deviled Eggs & Pork Belly Tuna apps and Miso Cod. Schnitzel and Tortellini were great too. Fun desserts!

Exquisite deviled eggs. Great meat. Creative cocktails. Has a relaxed vibe and not super high prices all while having super high-quality food drinks.

The Heritage in Madison, Wisconsin, exceeded all expectations! The cocktails were top-notch, with unique and bold flavor profiles that left a lasting impression. Steph and Eli, the bartenders, were incredible—friendly, talented, and made the entire experience unforgettable. Plus sourcing their meat locally, LOVE!! I’ll absolutely be back again. Five stars, without a doubt!

I wasn’t impressed with the food. I was excited to try the deviled eggs, but they were just salty and lacked flavor, which was disappointing, especially at over $3 per HALF egg. The pork schnitzel had a strong, distinct scent and flavor that didn’t work for me either. The dishes also took 45 minutes to arrive.

We joined friends at the Heritage Tavern for a dinner celebrating their anniversary. The food and service provided by Alexa were outstanding. They went above and beyond with little touches (like having Happy Anniversary printed at the top of the menus). The deviled eggs redefine deviled eggs. And the special, smoked pork porterhouse was so good it was hard to save any to box up.

I went to Restaurant Week and had a short course. It is a restaurant with a meat-focused menu. The restaurant boasts that their meat is fresh and good. My wife liked the ribs the best. The main menu had soft and delicious meat, but it felt a bit heavy because I kept eating only meat. I wish there had been more refreshing menu items in the course, but I still enjoyed everything.
