The recipes are easy to follow and everything you need is in your package! Our family loves to try new dishes and this is the best, least expensive way to try things out. The meals we made have been so delicious that we can't agree on which is our favorite! Perfect fit for people who have little time to shop or spend in the kitchen. Do try it; you'll be glad you did!

Isthmus Eats has been a great experience for our family. They make everything very clear for the consumer - listing where the ingredients are from locally, the instructions for making the meals you need to use each week, as well as the process of ordering our meals each week. The portions are generous. The meals have been delicious and healthy. Some meals choices are even ready without having to make them! Plenty of choices. Enjoy!

We switched to Isthmus Eats recently from hello fresh when we heard that it’s actually cheaper than hello fresh and other bigger name meal kit services! I always assumed local would be more expensive but that’s not the case and obviously the quality is much better while supporting local. I just wish we had made the switch sooner, so far everything has been delicious!

I’ve been using Isthmus Eats for a few weeks now and I’m seriously impressed! The meals are consistently delicious, the recipes are easy to follow, and the ingredients are super fresh, all of them locally sourced, which I love. I also appreciate how customizable the meal kits are, being able to select vegetarian and gluten-free options is a huge plus. Everything has been smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend giving them a try!

We love to cook but sometimes don’t have time to plan or shop for ingredients. We received a gift card for Isthmus Eats and were excited to try it. Everything delivered to your door? How easy it is to pick and modify your meals or skip a week if you need to? Yes and Yes!! The two meals we’ve made so far were amazing and not difficult to prepare. We will definitely keep the service after we’ve used up the gift card.

I've been a customer for several months. The meals are delicious, varied, and they provide all the ingredients except salt, pepper and olive oil! Sometimes the directions for substituted items could be clearer, and it always takes me a little longer to prep than the estimate, but not by much. They are great about dietary needs like GF. They even provide the macros so you know when you are choosing a dish, but if you sub in something (like meat into a vegetarian dish) you don't have updated macros. Great customer service as well. I highly recommend!

I have tried just about every meal delivery service under the sun. I stopped ordering when a family member was diagnosed with celiac disease as nobody had a good amount of gluten free options. Isthmus Eats was at the Madison Gluten Free Festival. They can make everything they offer each week gluten free and even sent me a gluten free mug cake the week of my birthday! The meals are delicious and made with local ingredients, and it's great to take a little stress out of the week by not having to plan. I love that they recycle by taking back ice packs and bags every week. If you're a gluten free house, this is a great option!

We've subscribed and used two other well-known meal kits, and have only been IsthmusEats subscribers for three weeks. We've been impressed and more than pleased with IsthmusEats. They use much much less plastic packaging, tin foil or other non-recyclables than the other meal kits; their outside packaging is all recyclable ( they even pick up and reuse their outside packaging) and we are greatly appreciative of the fact they use local vendors. AND their serving portions seem larger! We end up having delicious meals and are able to feel we are contributing to our own nearby communities and also contributing in a small way to sustainability. I highly recommend Isthmus Eats. Good food, good value (and good values), good community member!

I absolutely love this place. I order food from them every week. I use their meal kit service and everything about it is fantastic. You can tell these people pour their heart and soul into the items they make for their customers. I can't say enough good things about this place. I'm so glad I found them. They are locally sourced as well!

Isthmus Eats is a great local business that allows me to try recipes for a variety of cuisines with locally sourced ingredients from Wisconsin. I also appreciate the reusable, eco-friendly packaging!
