First off I was not greeted as I came in the restaurant. There was only 1 other person in the restaurant.(I should have exited then). I ordered three pork tamales which were old and a bit hard, the beans had a half slice of cheese on them( which should have been another red flag), the rice was the best thing that I ordered! It was a waste of money!!!!

I gotta say, coming originally from Austin, TX and living in Madison for three years, I haven't found a lot of good Mexican food up here other than QDoba. Other places just either try too hard or not hard enough, and they don't give me that soulful feeling of eating a good Mexican/Tex-Mex plate back down south. But this place knows what they're doing. After I ate Fajitas at La Bamba, a little bit of that feeling of home came straight back to me. It was a welcome...

Amazing restaurant! Truly authentic. Don’t let the location deter you, this is one of the best Mexican places in Madison. Try any of the burritos for a five star experience, so yummy!
