I am an international student and live around the area. The Main Depot is a heritage bar. Its more than a bar, its a community of people of all ages. Undoubtedly the kindest people I have met at any spot in my 2 years in America.P.S**** = If you are lucky you can see trains passing from the bench on the backside. Enjoy ;)
I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Main Depot Bar in Madison, Wisconsin, while I was traveling for work. I was immediately impressed by the friendly atmosphere and the friendly bartender, who made me feel right at home.I was able to tell that the bar was a popular spot with the locals, and I could see why. The drinks were delicious, the food was great, and the conversation was flowing. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and I felt like I was part of the family.I had a chance...
Best local dive in Madison! Drinks are cold, food is tasty, staff is superb. The Depot is a must stop when getting a drink before any Badger games! Try a famous Depot Bomb when you’re there.
