Today I went to Michelangelo’s for the first time. They were packed (we were there around 10:20am on a Saturday) but we were able to get a 2 top without an issue when our food and drinks were ready.
My partner got a chai tea with almond milk with a raspberry cream cheese croissant and I ordered an egg and cheese panini sandwich with a flat white with oat milk. All of our items were so good! And my panini sandwich was outstanding!
One of my favorite Coffee Shops in Madison. <3 Great sandwiches, Chai and Treats! I also like looking at the different art they sometimes rotate there.

Had a wonderful experience at Michaelangelo's. Awesome location right by the Capitol. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was great and best of all the coffee was amazing. My new favorite stop when I'm in Madison. Go. You won't be disappointed.

Management does not permanently ban people who come in with no intention of buying anything, harass paying customers by begging for money, fall asleep, and refuse to leave when asked until police need to be called, but god forbid anyone absentmindedly takes a puff off of a nicotine vape, which doesn't actually affect anyone else except in their own minds.
Edit: Agressive panhandling and disorderly conduct is illegal too, but hasn't resulted in a permanent ban for some of the most obnoxious offenders, as the same people keep coming back after being kicked out. I wasn't aware it's illegal to vape indoors, and question the state's constitutional authority to make it illegal. However, unlike the people who annoy and harrass your customers on a daily basis, I won't be back.
It's always great coffee. Always nice atmosphere. It is a great place to visit.

I'm highly disappointed that I was never greeted by any of the staff after entering, nor was I helped by any staff while I was standing at the counter where the pastries are located. They'd rather help those that came in after me. Extremely poor service. I chose to go elsewhere because of their poor service. They lost a customer because of that.
