Food comes from Hanks, an adjoining business. It was a nice selection of quick bar food. Service at the bar was friendly, but rather slow. Patrons are e pected to line up at a service area to get a drink. A little odd....? Atmosphere: Classic Wisconsin bar. Lots of wood and stuffed animals. Music: A little too hard and loud for our group, but could still have a conversation across a table.

I had never heard of this place, I was looking at bars on the way from Monona to the isthmus, and came across the Musky. What a gosh darn gem.
This feels like your pseudo-rich up north uncle who loves to fish fixed up his basement with "up north chic" vibes. It's a really chill atmosphere with a good selection of drinks.
The tap list is A+, it's got some staples and also fun local stuff. The cocktail list is good and includes some draft cocktails like an old fashioned, a Manhatten, and a seasonal pear G and T. They all slap.
Prices are reasonable. There's ample indoor seating and a small outdoor patio. Plenty of parking. Friendly bartenders. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.

Seems like every single time at this place I'm pretty much ignored by bartenders so it takes forever to get a drink. I don't get it. If it wasn't for that and being really loud inside, this place would be a regular spot for me and friends.

Great place, great food. I was with a group and the bartender noticed I wasn't drinking and gave me a free shot of juice to take with my friends round of shots. That's great service.

I do enjoy coming here. Their drinks and specialty cocktails are on point. Their food is ok for a bar. I would recommend for a fun evening hangout with friends as they have a large section in the back for darts, foosball, and shooting games, and it's a bit more private and quiet than the front tends to be.
