Everything was phenomenal, my family and I were very pleased! We tried the catfish appetizers, as well as the cheesecurds and fried pickles….all delicious!! Brisket was absolutely delicious as well as the pulled pork! We will definitely be back when we’re in Madison! Our fave place now
The food is great every time we come but I wanted to focus this review on our waitress. Angela is a phenomenal server. The BEST service I have ever had at a restaurant. She spent time talking with us after our meal and it was like talking to a friend you’ve known your whole life. I will be asking for her the next time I come back.

As someone from South Carolina, I was very disappointed by this restaurant. The pulled pork was alright and the Texas toast was good, but the barbecue sauces seemed to have been made by somebody who had only ever had barbecue sauce described to them without ever trying it themselves. Three of the four sauces were way too sweet and were essentially the same except one had liquid smoke added and the other had a pinch of black pepper. The fourth sauce, the only one that should have been sweet, was instead basically just yellow mustard with a little seasoning added. They had no vinegar-based sauces at all, which feels wrong when the bathroom decor includes a diagram of regional barbecue sauce and meat match-ups with vinegar based sauces being mentioned several times. They also do not serve sweet tea, and no, raspberry brisk does not count, which is not something you want out of a barbecue restaurant. If they took the South out of their name, at least they would be honest.

I ordered the armadillo eggs for an appetizer. then ordered brisket and coconut shrimp. It came with a side of Mac n cheese and Caesar salad. Food was good, brisket was melt in your mouth tender, coconut shrimp was a tad chewy but good. Armadillo eggs were delicious! Def would go back

This is just a great choice! Consistently delicious. Bartender Tim is wonderful. Ask for the mixed vegetables as a side dish! Nightly specials and delicious drinks.

Stopped today with my mom after the farmers market. We got amazing service from Allison. We pressed her for her favorite menu items and she gave us great suggestions! Brisket was amazing and so was the haddock. She even gave us both a flight of soup samples even tho we didn't order it. My margarita was good too! The place was clean and comfortable, stop here if you are in the area!

Came here on Sunday with my boyfriend. We had lunch here and it was excellent! Service was very good. Sunday was 1/2 price apps, we got 4 apps for $25. It was a great price and very filling. We got firecracker shrimp, brisket nachos, cheese curds, and sliders. Yum! Will be back again.

My husband and I went here for date night and greatly enjoyed ourselves!
We shared catfish bites, cornbread, and burnt ends as appetizers. I highly recommend the burnt ends, they were caramelized and delicious paired with the pickled onion. I was not impressed with the cornbread as it was flavorful but did not hold itself together- basically it crumbled immediately after picking it up. Lastly, the catfish bites were perfectly sized and tasted perfect. 100% recommend the catfish bites!
I ordered the ahi salad and my husband had a 3 meat platter. Both tasted fantastic and were huge portions!
We enjoyed ourselves and spent $140 with drinks total.
