Visited on a Wednesday for lunch. Ordered the fried Perch. 5 pieces lightly fried and served with fries. Also coleslaw. Perch was good and fries served hot. Local venue with high and low tables. Can also be served at the bar.
Gave this place a second try after a multi year hiatus. They have turned things around significantly. The burgers were really good, the fries were delicious & the service was far superior to the last time that I visited.
Hello everyone, if you are wondering where to go for the best burger (a burger without bells and whistles and extra items that in my opinion doesn't make a great burger!), in the Madison area, then look no further my friend. These are the best! Also, if you are looking for a delicious fish fry/grilled then I must say, I've yet to find a better place than Oakcrest.
