Great local brewery. One barrel introduced me to Kolsch. When I showed up to their tasting room they have so much more. Maple vanilla stout, imperial coffee stout, black porter, vanilla pale ale, Kolsch, lager, cherry lager, juicy IPA, West coast IPA, and 2 ciders. All their beers are good but the maple and the Kolsch are my favorites here. It is not a giant place but they can open the windows up to Atwood which is a really cool area. Awesome little brewery in the heart of downtown Madison, Wisconsin. They serve food until 8, which is great, because after 8 they allow dogs! Service was excellent.Beer review: stouts were brewed to style. IPAs could definitely use a higher ibu range, thus the one star knock. Just wanted a bit more punch in this category. Be bold. Be brave.
