I've eaten at Papavero many times. Mostly lunches and a few dinners too. Consistently excellent food and good service. Certainly one of the best Italian restaurants in Madison.
The moment we entered we were greeted and attended to. I could go on about staff, ambiance, and the warmth. Well, it comes down to that the amazing flavors of everything that we had!
Great food here, we happened to go during a Restaurant Week and the options off the special menu were really good. It’s really small inside and I was told it is hard to get a reservation. We went sort of last minute and were able to get a couple seats at the bar so we appreciated that.
